The company introduced a new vessel, Ever Viva, aimed at enhancing trade between Tanzania and Far East countries.
THE Tanzania East Africa Gateway Terminal Limited (TEAGTL), through the Adani Foundation has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IIT-Madras Zanzibar (IITM Zanzibar). The programme is designed to promote higher education in Tanzania and build a robust talent pool for Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

THE Director General of the Tanzania Ports Authority (TPA), Mr Plasduce Mbossa, has announced plans to expand the authority’s ports to maintain competitive services in the African and global markets. Speaking at the launch of Customer Service Week, which began yesterday, Mr Mbossa stated that TPA is positioning itself to be more competitive through ongoing investments in various ports across the country.
Prof. Makame Mbarawa, the Transport minister, unveiled this 1.18trn/- increase in port revenues in three quarters of the outgoing financial year when presenting budget estimates here yesterday.
